I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run
I’ve committed to taking part in Sands Ribbon Run which takes place during Baby Loss Awareness Week (9-15 October) for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.
£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.
£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.
£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

More exercise & building up fitness
Saturday 3rd Oct Added aqua aerobics into the mix this week & took a long walk 3.8miles. Had a good sleep but surprisingly feel ok albeit slightly achy. Next week from Friday 9th - 15th October marks the beginning of the ‘ribbon run’ which I aim to walk a total of 10k in 2-3 days. Fitness over the last 2 weeks
Monday 21st Sep I’ve managed to keep doing about 30 minutes of exercise at a time 2-3 times a week. Walking, YouTube fitness classes, skipping & stretches 🙌🏻
Fitness & legoland
Tuesday 8th Sep Stretches, skipping & dance fitness - I just got straight on it this week after a massive amount of walking around legoland 😂 I thought I’m more than capable now to just throw myself into the fitness journey 💪🏻 Share
Improving my fitness
Tuesday 1st Sep It’s been a while since I properly exercised due to pregnancy & c-section recovery afterwards so once Ivy goes back to school tomorrow I’m planning to start with a bit of walking & stretches then progress onto swimming, skipping & dance fitness. 👍🏻 Share

Wednesday 12th Aug My sister in law Louise mentioned about taking part in the ribbon walk together for the charity SANDS. I’d been thinking about doing some kind of fitness challenge for charity this year & given what we are currently going through this seemed like the perfect fit. I have personally reached out to this charity & they sent me a lovely memory box. They also provide further information & support for those who feel they need it.Thank you to my Sponsors
