I’m running 50k in May for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in May for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Why this specific charity?

Many of you will already know that our journey to growing our family has included experiencing baby loss twice. 
On 20th February 2024, I lost a baby through a missed miscarriage. Baby Juniper had passed away around 8 weeks but my body continued the pregnancy until 12 weeks. On 13th September 2024, we lost baby Novah. I was around 6 weeks pregnant. We are very lucky to have three beautiful children but walking this path was painful and made my pregnancy with Rosa incredibly emotionally challenging. I still often think of Juniper and Novah  SANDS is a charity which helps bereaved parents on their journey. They also help fund research. I have chosen to do their 50k in May challenge and I will be jogging. Please consider sponsoring me if you feel able to so that the money raised can be used to further their work. 
Theo is likely to be joining me for some of these jogs too! Hazel x
