I’m swimming in November for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to swimming this November for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change and provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals so that fewer babies die and fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

For the next baby Hill
Thursday 15th OctIn November, John and I will be swimming 5K to raise money for Sands, the baby loss charity, in memory of our babies, whose lives were far too short but whose impact on our lives will last forever.
Losing a baby is something no parent should ever have to experience. Sadly, it is a reality for so many families, and the grief that follows can be incredibly isolating. We know first-hand how much it means to have support, understanding and people who recognise that our babies matter, no matter how briefly they were here.
We want to do something positive with our grief: to celebrate the short lives of our babies, to honour the place they will always hold in our family, and to help ensure that other families experiencing the heartbreak of baby loss have access to the support they deserve.
Sands provides vital support to bereaved families and works to improve the care and understanding surrounding pregnancy and baby loss. Every donation, no matter how small, can help them continue this important work.
Swimming 5K is our way of doing something tangible in our babies’ memory, and we’d be so grateful if you could support us along the way.
If you’re able to donate, share our fundraiser, or simply help raise awareness of baby loss, it would mean more to us than we can put into words.
For our babies, and for every family who knows this heartbreak.
Thank you for supporting us and helping us make a difference in their memory.
