I’ve committed to the April Jogging Challenge for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Running 60km in April for Sands
Sunday 8th MarThroughout April, I’ll be setting myself a challenge to run 60km to raise money for Sands, the UK’s leading charity supporting anyone affected by baby loss.
Like many people, I know friends and families who have been affected by the loss of a baby. It’s something no parent should ever have to experience, and yet it touches far more lives than many people realise. Sands provides vital support for bereaved families, while also working to improve maternity safety and reduce the number of babies dying before, during, or shortly after birth.
This challenge is a small way for me to show support and help raise funds for the incredible work they do. Every mile I run during April is with the hope that whatever we raise can help someone in the future—whether that’s through providing support during the hardest of times or helping fund the research and work needed to prevent baby loss wherever possible.
