Welcome - I’m running 50k in September for families facing pregnancy and baby loss

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and for considering to donate. I am running 50k in September to honour all the women including myself, close friends, family members and women who I support in therapy who experienced pregnancy and baby loss.

Pregnancy and baby loss is a common yet hugely isolating experience which can leave many women feeling alone in their grief. I hope the little bit of money I raise goes towards supporting women and their families through their grief and accessing support easily and at the right time. 

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a pregnancy or baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

My 50k challenge starts today with a lunchtime jog and hopefully I will be completing the 10k in October as well!
