I’m taking on the Sands Knitting Challenge 💜
I’ve committed to knitting a blanket for a Sands Memory Box.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
Anything you are able to donate goes straight to Sands to support their work - thank you so much.

Why make it easy for myself?
Friday 28th Nov I’m notoriously impatient once I get an idea in my head, so rather than waiting for the kit I purchased from Sands I dived into my old stash for some white yarn. I had a fairly small amount, so I’ve started with the ‘lace’ edging and found the pattern online. It’s not perfectly uniform, but it’s a lot better than I feared it might be for a first attempt!Thank you to my Sponsors
