Sunday 3rd MayAs many will know, I lost my beautiful daughter Iyllah in January 2020. She was truly an angel, and her loss left a hole in the lives of myself so many other people.
The grief that followed was overwhelming, and without the support of trained professionals, I don’t know how I would have made it through those darkest days. Their care, understanding, and guidance helped me begin to navigate a world that no longer felt the same.
That’s why this May, I’m taking part in the 50k challenge. This is more than just a personal goal — it’s something I’m doing in her memory, to turn pain into purpose, and to help other bereaved parents access the support that meant everything to me when I needed it most.
Every step I take is for her, and for every family facing a loss no parent should ever have to endure
