I’m taking on the Sands knitting challenge
I’ve committed to crocheting blankets for a very loved and much missed baby. (The first one is done)
I personally haven’t been through this situation but I unfortunately know people who have and unfortunately someone in my life very recently suffered the loss of a child and they have found support from Sands.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
Anything you are able to donate means so much whether you donate to my page, knit or crochet a blanket personally, or donate wool to those who are, it will all go to supporting people through their loss.
