I’ve committed to the April Jogging Challenge for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to the April Jogging Challenge for every much-loved baby sadly not here today and in memory of my daughter, Aliza‑May, who sadly passed away when she was just ten and a half months old from a life limiting condition.

Sands were there for us during the hardest time of our lives; they gifted us a memory box, which we still treasure today—it holds the precious things we kept for Aliza‑May and helps us feel close to her every day.

By taking part in this challenge, I want to honour her memory and give back to Sands. Every step I take and every pound raised will help Sands continue their incredible work supporting bereaved families and funding research to prevent the loss of babies in the future.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
