Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Hello community. This September, I am stepping out to walk 100k in loving memory of my baby girl, Lily-Mae, who we lost in the second trimester back in January 2026. The road through grief is so heavy, but keeping her memory alive gives me purpose. I am doing this challenge to support the vital work Sands does for bereaved families like ours. I wanted to share my journey here to connect with anyone else walking for their babies this month. We don't have to walk alone.
