I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

My Baby Loss Story
Thursday 20th AugIn April 2025, just one week away from announcing our pregnancy to the world, everything changed.
Although this pregnancy was unplanned and something we had kept quietly to ourselves, it had already become something so incredibly special to me. I was beginning to imagine the life that was ahead of us, and I truly believe it would have been the best journey I could ever have taken.
Sadly, that journey was taken away from us far too soon.
Losing my baby is something I will carry with me forever. There are so many moments, plans and memories that I never got the chance to make, and even though my baby was never able to come into the world, they will always have a place in my heart.
That’s why I’ve decided to take on a 100K walk over three weeks in memory of my baby and to raise money for this charity. Every kilometre, every tired step and every moment of the challenge will be for the little life that meant so much to me.
This walk isn’t just about reaching 100 kilometres. It’s about remembering my baby, giving meaning to something that brought me so much heartbreak, and hopefully helping other families who have experienced the same loss.
