I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk

I’m taking part in the Sands Starlight Walk to support families affected by the loss of a baby, and to help bring light in the darkest of times.

Every day, 13 babies in the UK die before, during or shortly after birth. Sands works tirelessly to change this, funding research, supporting bereaved families, and striving for a world where more babies survive and every family receives the care and compassion they need.

By sponsoring me, you’ll be helping Sands continue this vital work—offering hope, understanding and support, and creating a lasting legacy in memory of every baby who has died.

Starlight Walk brings people together under the night sky to remember, reflect and walk in honour of their babies, while raising funds for Sands. If you’d like to take part, you can sign up here:
http://www.fundraising.sands.org.uk/starlight-walk. Events take place across the UK, or you can walk virtually wherever you are.

On the darkest nights, the stars shine brightest.

Thank you for helping keep that light shining.

💜 Walking for Nevaeh 💜

Wednesday 9th Sep
This year, I’ve signed up to take part in the Sands Starlight Walk, and I’d love to invite my Social Sisters to join me — whether that’s walking alongside me, sharing the post, or simply making a donation. ✨

This one is incredibly personal to me.

14 years ago, I lost my beautiful baby girl, Nevaeh. 💔
She had a cystic hygroma, and sadly, she passed away.

Having to give birth knowing that my baby wasn’t going to come home with me is something I will never forget. It was one of the most heartbreaking experiences of my life. And then having to say goodbye to my tiny baby and see her little coffin… there are no words for that kind of pain. 😞

14 years on, it still breaks my heart. Some grief never really leaves you — you just learn to carry it.

That’s why this walk means so much to me. I’ll be walking beneath the stars in memory of Nevaeh, and for all the babies who were loved, wanted and desperately missed. 💜✨

If any of my Social Sisters would like to walk with me, I would absolutely love to have you there. And if you’re unable to join but would like to donate, any amount would mean so much and will help Sands support families going through the unimaginable.

💜 For Nevaeh. For every baby. For every family. 💜

✨ Until we meet again, my beautiful girl. ✨

Thank you to my Sponsors
