I’m running 50k in May for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in May for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Every year I like to motivate myself to get a little fitter & healthier by trying to raise money for a good cause whilst committing to some form of physical activity. 

Over the years I’ve seen how baby loss and miscarriage has affected some of my closest friends and family members, including my little sister Clare. A few years back she had to grieve for the life of a  soul that was too good for this world and went through heartache, pain and the deepest of internal struggle alone. After finishing Uni last year she was blessed with the news she was pregnant again and she’s expecting her second child, my nephew this month! 

That said, I couldn’t think of a better charity than Sands to run for. These guys help bereaved families and support training for health care professionals in the sector. It would mean the world to me if you could donate and get behind this charity. Love Danny x
