Christine is taking on the Sands Knitting Challenge 💜

I’ve committed to knitting a blanket for a family our there who have lost a much loved and deeply missed baby.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. 

As a midwife and health visitor, I have supported families through baby loss and know how devastating it can be.  This is not sponsorship as such (I'm not running a marathon!) but anything you can donate to keep me motivated as I complete my blanket would be so much appreciated by me and more importantly by this very special charity.
