My Story 🌈
Monday 31st AugThis September, I’ll be taking on this 50k challenge for a charity that is incredibly close to my heart.
In 2024, my husband and I experienced the heartbreak of losing our baby. We found out on Father’s Day, the pregnancy was no longer viable. Then to top it off, one day after our first wedding anniversary, I had to undergo a D&C.
It’s a loss that has stayed with me every single day. Since then, we have also struggled to conceive again, making our journey to parenthood even more difficult.
I’m taking on this challenge to raise awareness, honour or angel baby, and run in memory of all the babies who have been lost and the families who continue to grieve them.
Miscarriage can feel incredibly lonely, and I want to help shine a light on the fact that behind every loss is a baby who was deeply loved, and a family whose lives are changed forever.
Every kilometre I run in September will be for the babies we carry in our hearts, and for the parents who never got to bring them home. 🤍
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, I would be incredibly grateful. Your support will help Sands continue to support bereaved families and raise awareness of pregnancy and baby loss.
Thank you and God bless,
Chloe 👼🏼🌈

Saw you today at the rogiet park run, well done. Such a worthy cause which my niece also went through. I also donated my wedding dress to a seamstress that made it into gowns for Angel babies to help families going through this unimaginable grief. Good luck on your runs.

Amazing effort and such a worthy cause 💙
