I’m running 50k in May for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in May for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

For Libby 🕊

Saturday 18th Apr
Libby was a mum, wife, daughter, midwife, friend, lots of things. Losing her has really knocked me. My years knowing Libby were brief but she was such a light. She was a rare kind of amazing. I have thought a while about trying to honour her as we were on opposite sides of the world so I could not attend her funeral to celebrate the wonderfulness that was Libby.

Sands was important to her, and so its important to me. I really wont ever forget her and her impact.

Libby has a lovely husband, David, and her 2 precious girls that have to now navigate a world without her. I cant even begin to imagine their experience so just a small acknowledgement to a cause so close to Libby.

Any donation or even sharing of this with people to raise awareness would have meant something to her. Honestly she was actually the best.

For you Lib, im going to actually run and I bloody hate it! 🤣💓
