2026 Walk 100k in September

I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

Walking in Memory of Our Baby 🤍

In February, we sadly lost our much-loved and wanted baby at 9½ weeks.

We hadn’t told many people about our pregnancy or loss, and even now, talking about our loss is something we find incredibly difficult. It’s something we carry with us every single day, and there are still so many emotions that are hard to put into words.

September was supposed to be the month we welcomed our little baby into the world. Instead, we’ve decided to turn what is an incredibly difficult time for us into something meaningful.

Chris and I are taking part in the Sands 100k in September, walking in memory of our precious baby and raising money to support Sands and other families who have experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby.

We know that no amount of fundraising can take away the pain of baby loss, but we hope that by taking part, we can help Sands continue to support grieving families through some of the darkest moments of their lives.

This walk means so much to us. It’s our way of remembering our baby, giving them a place in our story, and doing something positive in their memory. 🤍

If you’re able to sponsor us, no matter how big or small, every single donation will mean so much to us and will help us reach our fundraising goal.

Thank you for supporting us, remembering our baby with us, and helping us support other families who sadly know this pain too. 🕊️🤍

Forever loved, forever missed, and forever our baby. 🤍
