I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Why Im Running 50km in September
Monday 24th AugThis September, I’ll be taking on the huge challenge of running 50km to raise funds for SANDS – the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society, a charity supporting families affected by the devastating loss of a baby.
I know 50km will be a serious challenge, but I wanted to do something that would push me outside my comfort zone and, more importantly, help raise awareness and much-needed funds for a cause that supports families through unimaginable heartbreak.
No parent should ever have to experience the loss of their baby, and while I can’t take away that pain, I hope that by taking on this challenge I can help SANDS continue providing support to families who need it most.
There will undoubtedly be tough days, tired legs and moments when I question why I signed myself up for this 😂 — but knowing that every kilometre is helping raise money for such an important cause will keep me going.
50km in September. One big challenge. One very important cause.
