I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Walk around the Meadows

Tuesday 15th Sep
A lovely walk in the sun around the Meadows.  I felt part of the atmosphere of the uni students all getting to grips with the starting of the academic year.

Monday 7th Sep
First run of the 50k challenge.  It was a beautiful morning as I ran a new route.  I did have to run & walk for equal measures.  But I enjoyed the run and looking forward to the long run again next week.  I also took my dog, Sadie, along with me which was nice to have company for  the run.
