I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss
As a bereaved parent, I’ve committed to running 50k minimum in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
We lost our baby girl Margot-Mae on January 1st 2024 at 40 Weeks 6 Days. Three days later my partner went through giving birth to our little girl who was born on the 4th January 2024. She always will be our little girl and she will always be in our hearts and not a day goes past that we don’t think of her.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.

What a week
Friday 12th Sep Honestly this week I have had been in a bad headspace. Just kept saying I’ll do it at x time and never went and ended up occupying myself with some jobs around the house or venturing off out somewhere. It’s been a shit week but if it wasn’t for my partner Alexandra I wouldn’t have got a run done today (12/09) but I ended up going in the gym and getting 8KM done on the treadmill.

Tuesday 2nd Sep 2 runs down, a combined total of 12km in the bag so I’ve decided to up the target to 150km plus increase the fundraising target to £1500.Thank you to my Sponsors
