Me and my partner thought our journey to becoming parents would be an easy and a happy and exciting one. However sadly like so many other parents we’ve suffered loss, which has truly broken us both. I’ve decided to focus my anger and heartbreak on running a minimum of 60k throughout April.
07/08/2023 TMFR 🪽🤍⭐️
23/10/2025, our beautiful baby boy, Finley Norman, came into the world at just 17 weeks and fell asleep on 24/10/2025.

11/03/2026, we lost our 2nd 🌈 baby after being told their little heartbeat had stopped, which we had once seen strong and beating.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
