I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss

I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

September is fast approaching, which means autumn leaves, pumpkin spice everything, and me voluntarily questioning all my life choices.

As most of you are aware, I started Couch to 5k back in January and found a newfound love for running (kind of). I wanted to challenge myself and do something good along the way, so this September, I am running 50 kilometers for Sands, the UK’s leading pregnancy and baby loss charity. 

You don't have to break a sweat to be part of this team. Here is how you can pitch in:

 Throw a few pounds in the digital hat: Every donation helps Sands keep their life-saving helpline and research going.
