I'm running 50k in May for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

I’m taking on the challenge of running 50k this May in support of Sands 💙
Baby loss is something that touches so many people, and it’s something very personal to me. I’ve experienced loss myself, and although I’m now lucky to have my beautiful boy who means the world to me, those experiences stay with you.
That’s why I wanted to do something meaningful and raise money for Sands — to help make sure every family going through such a heartbreaking time gets the support and care they need. They also do amazing work to improve care and fund research, helping to prevent future loss.
I also took part in the Ribbon Run back in October 2024, and thanks to all of you I raised over £300 💙 It meant so much to me, and this time I’d love for us to go even further together.
This time I wanted to challenge myself even more by running 50k throughout May.
I’ve done my first run today — 2.25k! It’s a small start, but slowly and surely I’ll get there. I’ll keep sharing updates along the way 🏃♀️
