I’m running 50k in May for families facing baby loss

I'm running 100k in May for every much-loved baby sadly not here today. It'll be a mixture of heavy weighted walks and runs.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

So January was unfortunately a difficult start to the year. Watching two persons who I adore go through the loss of a child, after myself and the family had been so excited; was completely devastating for all of us. Other than love and support, it felt like there was little that could be offered until this charity event popped up in my feed. So, I pledge to dust off my old trusty running shoes and hit the pavements in May; to honour not only him and his parents, but all those who have sadly lost a child. The old knees have seen better days... 😅 but it's for something close to my heart, so I'll do my best to smash it, if not double the distance if I can! For you, Frankie ❤️
