I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

🤍 ARTHUR’S x SANDS | 100K FOR SANDS 🤍

This September, we want to bring our community together for something incredibly important.

On Friday 18th September, we’re taking on a COLLECTIVE 100K WALK around Carmarthen in support of Sands – the baby loss charity.

The challenge is simple:

🚶‍♀️ WALK 5K

🤍 RAISE £50 FOR SANDS

🎯 TOGETHER, WALK 100K

☕️ COFFEE ON ARTHUR’S

We need a minimum of 20 people to take part.

20 people × 5K = 100K.

But we don’t want to stop at 20.

We want as many people as possible to join us and help us smash that 100K target.

Everyone taking part will be asked to aim to raise £50 for Sands. On the day, we’ll walk 5K together around Carmarthen and, once you’ve completed your walk, simply show us your Strava activity and your coffee is on Arthur’s. ☕️🤍

But this isn’t really about the kilometres.

It’s about every baby carried in our hearts.

The babies who were here for a moment.

The babies who should be here today.

The babies whose names are still spoken.

The babies who may never have had the chance to be held, but were loved from the very beginning.

And the families who continue to carry that love and that loss with them.

Here at Arthur’s, we hear you.
We feel you.
And we remember them with you. 🤍

We want this to be a day where our community comes together and shows families affected by baby loss that they aren’t alone.

You don’t need to be a runner.

You don’t need to be super fit.

You don’t have to walk alone.

Bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring the kids. Bring the dogs.

Just bring your trainers and your heart. 🤍
