I’m running 5k everyday in May for families facing baby loss
This May, I’m pushing myself a bit further. Instead of aiming for 50k across the month, I’ll be running 5k every single day for this charity.
I’ve been looking for a challenge for a while, and after seeing this charity come up on my news feed so often, I decided to learn more about the incredible support they provide to families. I want to do something that can make a real difference. Unfortunately I know people this has affected and the impact it has on each family.
I’m especially grateful that my second child arrived safely after an emergency c section. I know not every family gets the same happy ending. That’s why this means so much to me.
Anything we manage to raise will go towards helping families during some of the most difficult times they’ll ever face. If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean a lot—your support will truly make a difference.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you. 🫶
