I’m golfing for families facing baby loss
On 24 July 2026, I will be taking on a challenge of playing 72 holes of golf in a single day.
That means four full rounds of golf, starting early in the morning and spending the entire day on the course in support of Sands.
I am doing this in memory of our son, Jamie.
Sands provides vital support to families affected by the death of a baby, offering care, understanding and support during some of the most difficult times a family can face. Their work helps parents and families who find themselves facing a loss that no one ever expects to experience.
After our own experience, supporting Sands feels deeply personal. This challenge is my way of doing something meaningful in Jamie's memory while helping Sands continue the incredible work they do for other families.
I'm new to golf but I enjoy it so taking on 72 holes in a single day felt like an appropriate challenge. It will be a long day, beginning early and finishing sometime that evening, but every hole played will be for a cause that means a great deal to me and my family.
Any donation, no matter the amount, would be hugely appreciated. Every contribution helps Sands continue providing support, care and resources to families who need them.
