How do I sign up?
To sign up register here.
When you register, your fundraising page will be automatically set up for you.
Is there an entry fee?
There is no entry fee for this challenge but we do however ask you to fundraise as part of your challenge.
Using the fundraising page set up for you when you register is the easiest way to collect sponsorship.
Is there a fundraising target?
We have no minimum or maximum amount that we would like you to raise. From our point of view, no matter how much money you raise, it will go towards supporting bereaved families across the UK.
Can I just raise money offline with a sponsorship form?
Absolutely. You can collect sponsorship in any way you like. We simply recommend using a fundraising page for this challenge as they’re easy and hassle-free, but if you’d like a sponsorship form, you can download one here.
Will I get a fundraising pack?
You should receive a golf themed fundrasing pack within 10 working days of signing up. You can also find digital resources on our website and order any extra materials you would like from our shop.
Your Golf Fundraising Pack contains: 1 poster, 1 banner and 2 golf based games to assist your fundraising!
Do you have golf polo shirts we can order/purchase?
We haven't developed a Sands polo shirt as of yet.
We do have Sands T-shirts which can be purchased from our shop, however we know not all courses would be accepting of a shirt with no collar.
We would welcome you to dress in Sands colours. If you would like to print our logo on your own polo shirt then please get in touch with the fundraising team who will be able to send you a high resolution image to use. Fundraising@sands.org.uk
Where and when is this challenge?
You can choose to complete the challenge on a day to suit you, and your golf course of choice.
You can choose to do 36 or 72 holes, as an idividual or a team.
How do I choose between 36 and 72 holes?
You can inidcate your choice when you register. Choose which ever option suits you!
Can we register as a team?
Of course, when you register, you can indicate if you are taking part as an individual or as a team.
Be mindful of the fact that, the more people you have, the longer it will take to complete.
Can I put Sands forward as our Golf Clubs Charity of the Year?
