I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss
Hi everyone! As some of you may or may not know, on the 29th September 2017, I lost a baby. My little baby wasn’t known of until the day they passed. On what was supposed to be a very normal day for me at college, turned out to be one of the most traumatic days of my life. I often still wonder what that baby would have been like, what they’d have looked like and how loving them would have been. Losing a baby was extremely painful, not just physically; but the mental loss and pain stays with you forever.
I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today. Doing this challenge for not only my September baby, but any and all babies that passed.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.
