Very sadly, I know lots of people who have been affected by pregnancy loss. It's an incredibly painful experience to go through, which often leaves families feeling isolated and heartbroken.

The scale of this issue is heartbreakingly large: around 13 babies die shortly before, during or soon after birth every day in the UK. Furthermore, it's estimated that one in four pregnancies sadly ends in miscarriage. These aren't just statistics; they represent thousands of families who need compassionate, expert support.

That's why this November, I've decided to complete this challenge for Sands, the baby loss charity. I'm doing this to help my friends who have experienced this, and anyone else who sadly will. Sands works tirelessly to save babies' lives and ensure that anyone affected by the death of a baby receives the best possible care and support for as long as they need it.

By supporting my challenge, you'll be helping Sands continue their vital work, including:
- Providing bereavement support services.
- Training healthcare professionals to deliver the best care.
- Funding research to understand and reduce the number of babies dying.

Thank you for your support and for helping me make a difference to those whose lives have been shattered by baby loss.
