I’m running 50k in May for families facing baby loss
Research shows over 10,075 miscarriages every year in the UK could be potentially prevented.
But sadly, just not enough is understood to reduce this number.
Some of you know I sadly experienced multiple unexplained losses before becoming a mum.
But I was lucky to be one of the minority that received treatment that enabled me to go in and have my son.
I know how important charities like Sands are in providing support to anyone impacted by baby loss.
Therefore I can’t think of a better charity to raise money for whilst doing something which I thoroughly dislike!
I’ll be running at least 13km a week over May to complete the challenge to help support other families impacted by baby loss.
SANDS campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
