I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss
I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Sunday 6th Sep Tonight mentally was harder for me for some reason. I had a mental block on getting out the door and then once out, struggled to keep pace and motivation to keep going. But I dug deep and thought about why I was running. I though about my child I currently had sleeping at home, thought about the older siblings he could have had but doesn’t. Thought about all the family’s in similar situations and ones in different ones. Sands provides that support for them when they need it most so I’ll dig deep and find the support for sands Share
