I'm running 50k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

50K for my beautiful baby niece 🩷🦋
Tuesday 25th AugIn September, I’ll be taking on a 50K run for Sands (Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Society) in memory of my beautiful baby niece, who was sadly stillborn on 26th April 2025.
There are no words that can truly describe the heartbreak of losing a baby, and although I never got the chance to meet my niece, she will forever be loved, remembered and a part of our family. 🩷
I’m taking on this challenge to honour her beautiful little life and to raise money for Sands, who provide vital support to families facing the unimaginable loss of a baby.
A 50K run will be a huge challenge for me, but knowing that I’m doing it in her memory will give me the strength to keep going, even when it gets difficult.
Every single donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to me and my family. It will help Sands continue to support families who are going through the same devastating experience.
