We're running 50k in May for families facing baby loss
In May 2014, my baby boy Lucas died unexpectedly when he was just 12 days old. Nobody could have prepared me for losing him or the trauma this has caused. Sands has been a huge support to me since Lucas died so I am taking on this challenge to raise money and support other families in Lucas’ memory.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
My sister Becki has joined Team Lucas so we can support each other through this challenge 🏃🏼♀️ we appreciate any support and donations to such an incredible charity!
