Ribbon Run Manchester 2026

I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run

I’ve committed to taking part in Sands Ribbon Run in Manchester which takes place during Baby Loss Awareness Week on Saturday 10 October 2026. I am taking part for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

Running for the babies gone too soon 💙🪽

Sunday 10th May

This year I’m doing the Ribbon Run for two people who mean the absolute world to me. 💙🎗️

Baby loss is something no family should ever have to go through, but sadly it’s a heartbreak that affects so many families every single day. In the UK, around 1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss, and every day families are left trying to navigate unimaginable pain.

Seeing people so close to me go through this has honestly changed me. It’s the kind of heartbreak that never fully leaves, and no words can ever make it better. But I wanted to do something to show my love and support for them, and for every family carrying this loss silently.

So every mile, every step, every ache during this run is for the babies gone too soon, for the parents and families who carry them in their hearts forever, and to help raise awareness so these babies are never forgotten. 🤍

If anyone would like to support me, donate or even just share this post, it would mean more than you know.
