Its that time again to set a challenge & to raise some money 💫💜

Back in March 2025 i took part in 100km walking for sands, I completed this and managed to raise £524.37

I signed up to this challenge due to feeling extremely low after loosing our baby boy Rory in October 2024 - this was something i struggled with massively as I was extremely naive to baby loss especially after being lucky enough to have Ronnie.

This challenge back in March helped me massively with my mental health, it gave me motivation to get up and move.

In March 2025 my anxiety was on a whole new level as we found out at the end of January we had fell pregnant again but anyone who has suffered a loss will understand how hard a pregnancy after loss and trauma that then can be. Something that is suppose to be such a happy time and you feel the weight of the world on your shoulders, every scan, every appointment what your supposed to be excited for your just filled with anxiety and worry.

Fast forward to now, we are blessed with 2 beautiful, healthy boys but the trauma we experienced as a family when we lost Rory still sits heavily and if raising money for an amazing charity will help other people, this is something I’ll continue to do.

Im currently 6months pp, myself and my superstar 16 year old niece have tried to get into a running routine which at the minute were running 1-2 5ks a week. So we are challenging ourself to run 60k in April- this is something that will be pretty difficult for us but hopefully achievable.

Please, any donation will be muchly appreciated ❤️✨

We're running the April Jogging challenge for families facing baby loss

We’ve committed to the April Jogging Challenge for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.
