I’ve committed to knitting a blanket for a very loved and much missed baby.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Baby Loss isn't the end

Having gone through 5 miscarriages myself, I remember the feeling of loneliness and grief.   I was let down with no support from any of the medical teams involved and wish to make a change to families and individuals going through the same.  Having a keepsake helps to build the strength one needs to carry on, knowing the loss is not the end, but will be loved forever.
