Rainbow Walk

How it works

A Rainbow Walk is all about honouring every baby that is part of your story - the ones in your heart and the ones in your arms.

It’s a simple, powerful way to create hope and support, and raise vital funds to help save babies’ lives.

Connect with others organising their own Rainbow Walk in the supportive Facebook Group. Once you’ve set up your page, it’s just about deciding when, where and who!

When?

Feel free to pick your own date to do it! A sunny Saturday morning, a gentle Sunday afternoon stroll, or a bright weekday gathering can all work brilliantly. It could be a date that means something special to you, or just a date that suits everyone. Give yourself a few weeks to invite people, pick a route, and spread the word.

Where?

Your Rainbow Walk doesn’t need to be complicated:

๐Ÿ’œ A scenic loop through your local park
๐Ÿ’œ A coastal or countryside walking path
๐Ÿ’œ A route starting and ending in your neighbourhood or local café

Choose somewhere safe, accessible, and comfortable where people can walk and chat at their own pace.

Who?

Think about:

๐Ÿงก Your closest family and friends
๐Ÿงก Anyone who has been there for you on your journey
๐Ÿงก Anyone you know who might have had similar experiences
๐Ÿงก Tell everyone to wear their brightest colours for the occasion!

Send friendly, personal invites by message, WhatsApp, email, or social media and include a link to your fundraising page.

Once you’ve chosen your date and route, share your fundraising page link in group messages or on social media so other people can support you by donating before, during and after your Rainbow Walk.

Keep an eye on the event page to see how much Rainbow Walks across the country are raising, and remind people how much their support matters in helping to save babies' lives and supporting bereaved families.

“Hi, I'm Kayla and 7 years old. I love my little brother, Zack, so much even though he is in in the stars. I am doing this walk in memory of Zack. We all miss him and Sands gave my mum a lot of support in this time.”
