I’m running 2k a day in Febuary for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Delays due to illness

Wednesday 18th Feb
Hello everyone, I got hit with a very nasty and prolonged virus that wiped me out. Running definitely made it worse so I had to stop for a while. I’ve started again this week. 

I’ve taken myself off social media due to needing to save my brain space for more complex things .

Much love to all who have donated so far . I really appreciate it, I won’t get this challenge completed by the end of February because I’ve lost so much time while ill but I will keep plugging away at it 💕

10 families can now get a special memory box!

Monday 2nd Feb
Blown away by the support in 24 hours the target has been hit . 10 families can now receive a special memory box like I did when Bonnie died. 
A chance to do foot and hand prints , a canceled , seeds to plant a tree…. So may special items. 

Thank you to all those who helped achieve this. 💕 I am hopeful as the month goes on that more can be raised , the target was set as an initial one but I would love to raise more I can 🙏💜

10 years on. In memory of Bonnie

Sunday 25th Jan
I had decided to take on this challenge to raise money for other bereaved families. 
Having to say goodbye to your own child is an indescribable pain. It will be 10 years since Bonnie passed away on March 2nd. 
There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think of her and what life would be like with her still here.
If I can help just a little bit to raise money for others who are in the early stages of their grief then I am going to try!
