Walk 100k in March 2026

I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

Beatrice’s Memory

Thursday 26th Mar
As all my family and friends will know we lost a beautiful Cheebie Beatrice Rose Anne who was still born at full term after a perfectly healthy and text book perfect pregnancy.  On 27th December 2014, Libby and Rob went to the birthing centre after going into natural Labour to be told there was no heartbeat, and she had passed a few hours previously! No warning, no issues, she had died!
There are no words to explain the feelings of loss we felt, holding a perfectly beautiful little girl who would not come home, would not live the adventurous life her parents and family had planned for her, just a huge unbelievable hole and void in our lives.   We have since losing her made a big effort to support SANDS, they do amazing work and were there to support Libby and Rob so well…  you can never know what is around the corner and charities such as SANDS help so much for bereaved parents and families.   I have several 100 friends on Facebook and if each one gave just £1 what a big impact this would have on our efforts to support the walk 100K in March…. If you know me well you know I can’t walk long distances but am cycling on my exercise bike to input into our little campaign…. I am also trying to walk short bursts on the treadmill too…  please help to support this amazing charity, every penny does count.  You never know and I hope to god  that no one else I know has to endure the pain the loss of a child causes, but to know there’s this amazing support network is there is such a blessing to support bereaved families. Xx  come on guys, get donating, and push me to keep cycling and walking as best I can 💪🤗❤️
