Baby Hat Knitathon

Hi everyone,

I'm swapping my keyboard for knitting needles for the day on Tuesday 10th of November!

As part of my Maximus volunteer day, I'll be spending a full 8 hours knitting baby hats to donate to local NICUs and maternity wards while raising money for Sands - the UK's baby loss charity. 

As many of you know, I'm currently 27 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I'm incredibly grateful that both of my pregnancies have been smooth so far, but I'm also very aware that not every family's journey is the same. I consider myself very fortunate, and this has made me reflect on how important charities like Sands are for families navigating some of life's most difficult experiences.
