In memory of Amber
Monday 10th AugI’m walking 100 kilometres (about 62 miles) throughout September for Sands, in loving memory of my beautiful daughter Amber, who was stillborn on 4th September 2025.
This challenge is my way of honouring her and supporting other families who face the same heartbreak. Sands provides vital support to bereaved parents, improves bereavement care, and funds research so fewer babies die.
Leaving the hospital without her was traumatising, but the memory box from Sands made it a little easier. It held precious keepsakes of Amber and became something I completely treasure. Knowing other families can receive the same support means a lot to me.
