Sands Starlight Walk for Bethany 💕

I haven’t been personally affected, but people close to me — friends and family — have. 

I’m taking part in memory of my lovely friend Helen’s baby girl, Bethany, who heartbreakingly was lost at birth. Bethany would be celebrating her 21st birthday this year, and it feels especially important to honour her memory.

This is for Bethany — and for all the parents who face the unimaginable. I want to help ensure they have the support, comfort, and care they deserve during the hardest of times. 

We are taking part in Sands Starlight Walk as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.
