I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Memory walk!

Hi, I’m Sophie. 

I’m taking part in the 100k walk over September for sands. 
I’m doing this walk, as a memory of our little one that unfortunately didn’t make it on to earth side. 
We lost our little one due to a missed miscarriage, and it generally is the worse thing anyone can go through is losing a baby. Nothing really prepares you for what comes after the news of someone saying ‘I’m sorry there is no heartbeat’ 

Doing this walk is a small thing, I can do in honour of all the babies that unfortunately lost their lives!
