I’m running 2k a day in Febuary for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Why I am running 2k everyday in February

Monday 26th Jan
I am Anne & Eimears Mum. Anne & Eimear were identical twin girls who were loved so so much from the moment I knew I was expecting. So many hopes and dreams. 
I got to the stage 17 weeks & hospital explained my next hospital appointment they were going to start steroids to open up their lungs but unfortunately God had other plans and just before that appointment 19 weeks when they scanned me and I can still hear the devastating words I'm sorry we can't find a heart beat for only only twin. Then 2 weeks later I was told both heart beats at stopped. All my hopes and dreams and devastated for their brother Caolan. 
I want to make my angels Anne & Eimear proud of their family to show we love them more than anything and they are always with us and to let others families know their is hope. We can stand together to try to make our lives a little earlier without our angels with us
