I’m running 2k a day in Febuary for families facing baby loss
Doing it for Donnie 🩵
I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February for my wonderful friend Sadie who tragically lost her baby at 40 weeks gestation due to a concealed placental abruption. This news devastated Sadie and her husband and all who love her. Sadie also almost lost her own life due to this tragedy. Since then Sadie has raised an incredible amount of money in honour of Donnie and I want to do my bit to continue his legacy.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.

Last run done!
Saturday 28th Feb Last two days I ran extra as 2 of the days I only managed a brisk walk. The biggest challenge has been trying to fit it in but it just goes to show we all do have a spare 15/20/30 mins in our life to do things that our worthwhile and beneficial to our physical and mental health. But this challenge was much more than that, it was to raise funds for an amazing cause and in memory for all the babies taken too soon. One special soul in particular was in my thoughts whilst doing this challenge. Little Donnie this was for you and your incredible mummy 🩵 Thank you to everyone who has donated 🫶🏻 Share
Over half way
