Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. This September, I am taking on the Sands 100k challenge to walk in loving memory of my beautiful daughter, who I lost in November 2015 to fetal hydrops.She is missed every single day, and I am stepping up to walk 100 kilometres (over 133,000 total steps) to raise as much money as I possibly can in her honour.Sands is an incredible charity that provides comfort, support, and a lifeline to bereaved families when the unimaginable happens.
