I’m running 2k a day in Febuary for families facing baby loss
In January 2026 we received the devastating news at our 12 week scan that our pregnancy wasn't growing or progressing as it should be. We have had so much love and support from friends and family but it has still been one of the hardest things we have had to navigate through (and we still are!)
I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February to encourage people to talk openly about baby loss and not treat it as a 'taboo subject'. Every baby deserves to be remembered and talked about, regardless of how old they were when they were lost. From the minute we found out we were imagining a life with them, what they would be like and what sports they would like! (hopefully dog agility!)
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
