I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk
I’m taking part in the Sands Starlight Walk to support families affected by the loss of a baby, and to help bring light in the darkest of times.
Every day, 13 babies in the UK die before, during or shortly after birth. Sands works tirelessly to change this, funding research, supporting bereaved families, and striving for a world where more babies survive and every family receives the care and compassion they need.
By sponsoring me, you’ll be helping Sands continue this vital work—offering hope, understanding and support, and creating a lasting legacy in memory of every baby who has died.
Starlight Walk brings people together under the night sky to remember, reflect and walk in honour of their babies, while raising funds for Sands. If you’d like to take part, you can sign up here:

For Arthur
Saturday 12th SepOn 10th October, I’ll be taking part in the Sands Starlight Walk at Whitlingham in memory of our beautiful Arthur. Arthur was born sleeping at 20 weeks on 20th May 2025, and although we only had a short time with him, he will always be our son and a huge part of our family. We carry him with us every single day, and taking part in the walk is one small way we can continue to remember him and keep his memory alive.
The Starlight Walk also raises vital money for Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, which supports families through the unimaginable loss of a baby. If you would like to support us and help Sands continue to provide that support to other families, we would be incredibly grateful for any donation, no matter how small. Most importantly, we’ll be walking for Arthur, with him in our hearts every step of the way. 🤍✨
