I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Willsbridge Mill
Tuesday 25th Mar Walke the boys to school and preschool and then to Willsbridge Mill for a dog walk with a friend. 10.43km Share
River chew circular walk
Tuesday 18th Mar A lovely 8.83km walk with my sister and the dog around River chew, beautiful views and stopped in the pub at the end. Share
Riverside walk to Keynsham
Thursday 13th Mar
Small walk
Tuesday 11th Mar Only managed a small walk as Oliver is not well but still walked to school drop off and dentist and then stopped at grandparents for a cuppa. Hopefully a big walk Thurs if Oliver is better and goes to preschool. 5km added Share
Chipping Sodbury walk
Thursday 6th Mar Walked the boys to school and preschool plus went for a walk with Georgia around Chipping Sodbury which was lovely.14km Share
School drop of/pick up
Wednesday 5th Mar Rest day today but still walked the kids to school am and pm. Share

First walk completed 🎉
Sunday 2nd Mar I was so excited but also nervous. The sun was shining and it was such a lovely walk. The boys joint us until the bird and hand where we stopped for a drink and said goodbye and went on our way. Stopped again to feed baby Eira and then to the finish line. I had a bite to eat and the walked from Bath Spa Railway Station to Oldfield School where Matt picked me up. Amazing I completed 16.77km (10.4 miles) Share
First walk planned
Tuesday 25th Feb 1st March we are planning to walk from Bitton Train Station to Bath Spa Train Station it's approximately 7miles and will take around 2.5 hours. Super excited to get started 😁 Share
